1. What Celis is

Celis is a marketplace for buying and selling used items. Celis does not sell the items and does not hold money. Buyers and sellers agree and pay each other directly. By using the app, you accept these terms.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older. Give true information, and keep to one account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Never share a code sent to your phone.

3. Prohibited items

Weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, and anything else illegal are not allowed. Our system checks listings automatically, and staff review some of them. We can remove any listing that breaks these rules.

4. Zero tolerance for abuse

Celis has zero tolerance for objectionable content, abuse, threats, discrimination, scams, and harassment. We review reports within 24 hours. We will remove the content, and suspend or close the account of anyone who breaks this rule. You can report and block any member.

5. Buying and paying

See and check the item before you pay. Do not pay deposits. Do not use gift cards, irreversible transfers, or crypto with people you do not know. Celis does not guarantee items or payments, and cannot refund money.

6. Meeting in person

Meet in a public, well-lit place, and tell someone where you are going. Safe spot suggestions are only a help, and do not guarantee your safety. If you are in danger, leave and call your local emergency number.

7. Reviews and disputes

Reviews must be truthful, and come from a confirmed deal. A dispute can be opened within 14 days of the handoff. An Celis decision can affect reputation and accounts, but cannot move money.

8. Phone checks and the blue badge

Our team verifies your phone number by checking that your ZAAD or eDahab account is registered to the name you give. We will never ask for your PIN or ask you to send money. Celis gives the blue badge to businesses, well-known people, and its own staff once we confirm they are who they say they are. We can remove it at any time. A verified account cannot change its name in the app.

9. Featured listings and stores

Celis may feature listings and stores it chooses, and labels them Featured. Being featured is not a guarantee or endorsement of the item or the seller. Always check an item before you pay.

10. Limit of liability

Celis is provided as is. As far as the law allows, Celis is not liable for losses from deals, meetups, or the behavior of members. This does not affect legal rights that cannot be waived.

11. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, once your deals and disputes are closed. We can close any account that breaks these terms.

12. Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we will ask you to accept them again. For questions, use the support address in Settings.
